Happy Sunday HPMS!
This week we had the opportunity to celebrate the amazing cast and crew of Highland's production of High School Musical! Our students truly shined in these wonderful shows. They put a lot of hard work and practice into making these such a success. From the costumes, set design, lighting, sound, choreography, singing, and acting it all turned out beautifully. Congratulations to all the students involved in making this production a huge success, and a big thanks to Mrs. Kuechle who's hard work, dedication, and love for her students made this possible. Great job!
Also this week, Highland athletes competed in the BSD Basketball Tournament. The students had an amazing time (their words, not mine!). They put in a lot of practice and hard work after school, and really came together as a strong team and represented HP well. Congratulations the the HPMS basketball team on great games! A huge thanks goes to Mrs. Renning for her coaching, her care and dedication truly made this exciting event possible for our students.
Teacher Appreciation Week
A huge thanks as well to all the families who showed your love for the HPMS staff this week with the treats, coffee, and gifts. This year has been more challenging than most, and I know our teachers and staff greatly appreciated all the love and support shown this week. Thank you to our amazing PTO for coordinating this, and to all the families who contributed. You truly helped lift the spirits at HP!
Parent / Student resources
Below are some resources for our parents, and an opportunity for students bound for SRHS. Please take a look at the Social Media Safety opportunity to help learn more about ways to keep students safe online, and the Love and Logic class opportunities to learn more about tools and techniques to help strengthen healthy relationships with students.
Have a great Sunday HP!
