HPMS Before & After School Clubs

Do you have math questions, need some extra practice, want to prepare for an upcoming math test, or just want a quiet place to come work on your math homework?

Opportunity for students (who may not otherwise have it) to learn basketball skills, what it means to be a leader on and off the court, teamwork and sense of belonging. 

Opportunity for students to get to know one another and enhance teamwork through playing a variety of board and card games.

To provide space and instruction in digital art and animation and work toward students submitting an entry into the Signal 2 Noise competition in the category of Animation. Last year 2 students from this club were nominated for best film in Animation!

To create a safe place for students identifying as LGBTQA+ and allies to build a sense of community.

Homework club is a place for students to connect with our tutors from Mountainside High School and work on school work! This club does not have a max number of students. Students do not have to come every week, but can come when they feel like they need extra support in one of their classes or have questions about organization and time management. 

To establish a middle school journalism opportunity and create a digital student newspaper for our community.

To create a space for students to explore science project ideas and conduct their own projects and practice presentations in preparation for the STEAM Night at school (and, hopefully, in future years, to allow students to participate in the big EXPO Science Fair).

Opportunity for students (who may not otherwise have it) to learn soccer skills, what it means to be a leader on and off the pitch, teamwork and sense of belonging.
